Oregon vs. WASHINGTON (66) - at Las Vegas, NV

By Anson Munson, Featured Handicapper

Missed last night with my 100 Dimer on Dallas, as the Cowboys late field goal instead of a touchdown was just not enough to cover the -9 1/2 point impost.

I don't like losing, and last night stunk!

Time to get some of it back this Friday night.

I am sizing up a huge weekend of football winners and it all starts tonight with this Conference USA lock from Lynchburg.

They meet again!

The last time Oregon and Washington faced one another was back on October 14th when the Huskies held on at home for a 36-33 win as the Ducks missed a 43-yard field goal as time expired that could have sent the game into overtime.

As it was, the game did land Over a total of 66 1/2 points, and tonight indoors in Las Vegas these teams are looking at a total in that same price range.

My feeling is we see another higher-scoring affair between the Ducks and the Huskies as the Pac-12 Championship lands Over the total.

It's true both teams will be well aware of what the other will be trying to do on offense, but the fact of the matter is Bo Nix and the Ducks are averaging 45.2 points per game, while Michael Penix Jr. and the Huskies are averaging 38 points per game for the season.

With weather not being a factor at all inside Allegiant Stadium, it would not surprise me at all if this game turned into another shootout the way their October 14th meeting did.

Play the Ducks and the Huskies to land Over the total on Friday night in Sin City.

Tonight on a wet field at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia I am going to play the Aggies and the Flames to play their Conference USA Championship Game to hold Under a total of 54 1/2 points.

New Mexico State likes to rely on their defense to set the tone, and the Under in Aggies games is 6-1 over their last 7 games during the regular season, and 9-4 on the year in their 13 games contested. Included is their September 9th regular season meeting with the Flames in this stadium in a game that saw Liberty defeat New Mexico State, 33-17.

The Flames can put up some big numbers, as Liberty did play Over the total in 5 of their final 6 games during the regular season, but tonight with rain in the forecast, I am going to look for the points to be a little harder to come by in the second go-round for these conference rivals.

The Aggies know their only chance to win this game is to limit the Flames' possessions, so look for Coach Kill to take the air out of the football as much as possible.

Go Under in New Mexico State and Liberty.
