Time to turn things around on the diamond.
Need a winner, it's just that simple.
Winner # 11 of 16
Division Rivalry Game of the Month
Just need to nail this one and take us into Thursday on a winning note.
Wednesday's comp play is on Texas over the L.A. Angels.
The teams split a twin-bill yesterday, and now Texas will look for the series win tonight as they have won 2 of the 3 games played thus far this week.
Despite a loss to the Twins his last time out, the Rangers have the right man on the hill tonight in Mike Minor. Minor saw his personal 3 game winning streak halted in that loss to the Twins last week, but does boast 11-7 season mark with a 2.94 season ERA, and he did record his first career shutout over the Angels on 3 hits back in the month of April.
Patrick Sandoval will make his third big league start, and he is hoping for a better result than his first pair of efforts, as Sandoval has only been able to record 9 innings with 11 hits allowed and 7 runs scored for an 0-1 mark.
Texas has not won a series since the start of this month when they swept Detroit in a 3 game series, so you know they will be eager to get out there tonight behind their most consistent pitcher and make it 3 wins in 4 tries against a Los Angeles team they are now tied with in the division standings.
Give me the Rangers to win this finale over the Angels.

12-5 run to close NBA Playoffs with 100 Dime Releases
22-12 Overall in NBA Postseason with 100 Dime Selections
Tonight's release is just as strong as any of those NBA winners I gave you all postseason long.
Hitting 11 of my last 15 totals rated at 60 dimes is all fine and dandy, but hitting tonight's 100 dimer is going to be even better still!
Let's make some more green!
Wednesday's free play winner is the Yankees to even their series with the Athletics as J.A. Happ and Mike Fiers take to the mound for the second of four games this week.
New York outhit Oakland, 11-9 last night, but they were outscored 6-2 in the runs department as the Yanks dropped their second straight, while the A's made it a 5-1 run over their last 6 games.
Going to look for Happ to build off of his last start which saw him allow just 2 runs over 5 innings in a win over Baltimore last Wednesday.
Happ is now 2-1 over his last 3 starts, and owns a 3-1 mark for the year on the road. Happ is also 4-1 for his career against Oakland.
The A's will counter with Mike Fiers who happens to be unbeaten over his last 18 starts, and stands at 11-3 for the year. I would say that Fiers is about due for a loss, wouldn't you? His career ERA versus the Yankees is over 5, so look for New York to draw even with the win in Oakland here on Wednesday night.
