Double-Digit Blowout

Goes on the afternoon card

My side wins by 3 TD's!

$65

D-Train let it rip last night in MLB with my Biggest Ever Release in any sport, but unfortunately it did not work out the way I thought it would.

100 Dimer on the Cleveland Indians on the Run Line and the Tribe could only win the game by a run. Hey, I am not going to cry the blues. I took a shot, it didn't pan out.

Time to move forward and start a winning streak.

Stephen DeAngelo's Rating System

The dime rating system is so simple and easy to understand in terms of money-management. Look, my plays are rated on a 10 dime to 100 dime scale. A 20 dimer is twice as strong as a 10 dimer; a 30 dimer is three times as strong, etc., etc.

As for my ratings' strategy, the key for me is spotting bad numbers. The worse the number - as in the bigger discrepancy between what I think it should be and what it actually is in Vegas - the bigger the play.

Understand this: I am an opportunist. Whether I'm up or down, when I see an opportunity to make big money, I go for it. And if I'm on a roll, I'm pushing my chips into the middle of the table and taking a shot for a bigger payoff.

Who is Stephen DeAngelo?

Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and Handicappers who claim to win all the time.

Three figments of one's imagination.

I'm a winner. I win consistently over the long term, but that does NOT mean I win every day and any handicapper who claims to do so is bullshitting you.

And when I'm winning I'm all in, pressing the action, going for the jugular.

I'm a no-nonsense guy who doesn't play games — other than those I'm betting. No excuses here; I never deal in "what ifs." When I'm wrong, I'll own it, 1000%. And then I move on, erasing the loss from my memory because tomorrow is another day, another chance to make money. That's the type of mentality you need to not only survive, but thrive as a gambler and a handicapper. And that mindset has carried me from the time I made my first bet in 1995 to when I first started selling picks to customers in 2006.

This is the ONLY place you will find my selections. I have no phone service, no other source of providing them to the public. So many guys in this industry sell multiple picks at multiple price points at multiple sites, plus have other plays via their phone rooms. Not me.

This is it. One play a day. One best bet.

Welcome aboard the D-Train!

Complimentary Winner

Not willing to lay almost 4 full scores this afternoon with Georgia on the road as they open their season with this conference road game in Fayetteville against the Hogs of Arkansas.

Oh, no question UGa will win this game, but with their home opener against Auburn up next as well as games with Tennessee, and on the road at Alabama and Kentucky on the horizon I would think that head coach Kirby Smart will be happy to leave Arkansas with a solid 20 point win - but no cover.

This is a new era for the Razorbacks who went just 2-10 straight up a season ago, as new coach Sam Pittman takes over after spending the past 4 years in Athens with Smart's staff as the offensive line coach. Pittman does have a qualified quarterback to run the offense in former Florida signal-caller Feleipe Franks who transferred in the off-season. While the Bulldogs defense will be the calling card in today's game, I can see Franks doing just enough to keep the massive home dog within this rather large impost.

Consider that the oft-times stagnant Georgia offense has a new coordinator in Todd Monken and will be playing without Jake Fromm and you can easily see Smart trying to run the clock in this game to keep his offense from turning the ball over. The Bulldogs have former USC QB J.T. Daniels slowly healing from his knee injury that sidelined him last season as the presumptive starting QB after former Wake Forest QB Jamie Newman opted-out. You also have a red-shirt freshman in D'Wan Mathis having never taken a live game snap and Stetson Bennett who is 3rd on the depth chart all likely to see some snaps today.

With bigger fish to fry down the road, I do not think Kirby Smart goes full "pell-mell" this afternoon, especially not against one of his former coaches, so do not look for the 'Dawgs 7-13 spread mark when laying -20 or more to improve in this situation.

This is the first meeting between the schools since 2014 and while it will be a Bulldogs win, I will go with the Razorbacks to cover plus the generous points.

4♦ ARKANSAS
