Miami at BOSTON (-14')

I will be the first one to tell you that winning in the NBA postseason is probably the toughest thing to do. Fortunately I have been dialed in to start the long playoff grind. That being the case, you need to strike the iron while it is hot, and 3 straight playoff winners qualifies as hot.

Coming big tonight in the Western Conference!

Another BIG impost the Celtics are being asked to cover on Wednesday night at TD Garden. However, considering Boston is still miffed about losing in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Heat last May, and considering the Celtics opened this series on Sunday with a 114-94 cruise job over the Jimmy Butler-less Heat, my recommendation is to put on your lumberjack shirt once again and lay the lumber with the Celtics.

Boston has won ALL 4 season series meetings this year over Miami, and they have covered in 2 of their last 3 wins.

Any thoughts that Boston may be a little rusty having not played a meaningful game in weeks were quickly dispelled in Sunday's blowout win that moved the Celts to 38-4 on their home court this year.

This series seems to be a mere formality, as Boston is not going to let Miami up for any air this postseason.

Lay it with the Celtics.

New Orleans at OKLAHOMA CITY (210')

I thought we were headed in the right direction when the Padres grabbed the 4-1 lead after 3 innings, but a 5 run Rockies 4th inning saw to it that my 75 Dimer on San Diego on the Run Line did not materialize.

Time for a bounce-back winner on the diamond tonight.

I am all about scoring with this winner that will not be close. If you are reading this text, the game has not started.

It's Game 2 of the Western Conference quarterfinals between the Pelicans and the Thunder, and it looks like another Under to me.

Game 1 on Sunday fell well short of the 216 total points, as OKC held off a New Orleans upset bid, 94-92.

That Game 1 Under made it 3 of 4 meetings this season between the teams Under the total, as the Under moved to 6-3 the past 9 times the Pels and Thunder have jumped the ball.

New Orleans has played ALL 3 of their postseason games Under the total and is 5-2-1 Under for their last 8 games overall.

Oklahoma City has held low in their last pair of games and 4 of their last 5 overall.

With neither team cracking the century mark on Sunday, I'll bank on that triple-digit mark being hard to eclipse for both teams at the Paycom Center again on Wednesday night.

Pelicans-Thunder Under in Game 2.
